Shailene Diann Woodley, the American actress cum activist has revealed that she was engaged to Aaron Charles Rodgers, the popular American football quarterback, months back. Notably, the pair maintained their secrecy over their engagement and kept enjoying this secret engagement ‘months and months.’

Woodley, 29 while sitting for an Interview admitted that she and her fiancee, Rodgers kept their engagement news private and did not share it for as long as possible.

On Friday, the actress spoke to the Reporter and said, “When we announced that we were engaged, we wanted to do that only because we didn’t want someone else to do it before we did.”

Woodley continued and stated, “And we didn’t do it for months and months after we had become engaged, but the reaction to it was really a lot, and so we were like, ‘Let’s just politely decline [to talk about the relationship] for a little while and live in our little bubble.'”

In July 2020 the dating sparked for this pair, but yet the footballer did not declare their engagement till February 2021. Yet, he never termed Shailene Woodley, as his fiancee.

In June, the actress said, “I and Aaron have moved in together, pretty quickly and ‘jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early.'”

In the context of their engagement, the actress clearly stated that she possesses a ‘pretty debilitating’ health condition and believes to keep her personal life a private matter.

The actress noted, “I’m on the tail end of it, which is very exciting, but it’s an interesting thing, going through something so physically dominating while also having so many people pay attention to the choices you make, the things you say, what you do, what you look like.”

Later, she claimed, “It spun me out for a while. You feel so incredibly isolated and alone. Unless someone can see that you have a broken arm or a broken leg, it’s really difficult for people to relate to the pain that you’re experiencing when it’s a silent, quiet and invisible pain.”
