In 2021, the video game industry saw some great releases already, and the remaining part of 2021 will also have some great releases coming up. The delay in software and hardware releases due to the current pandemic situation has heavily impacted development schedules. Many games released have been delayed. Console and computer hardware were also affected by the semiconductor shortage. Many new games have been released till now for PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and many more are coming up in the upcoming few months.

New releases PS5 video games –

WRC 10 – Developed by French developer Kylotonn this is a racing video game. Nacon publishes the game. It is a sequel to WRC 9 and is the official game of the 2021 World Rally Championship. On September 2, the game is releasing, which was revealed in 2021. The game featured all the 12 rounds of the season and celebrating the 15th anniversary of the World Rally Championship. Multiple historically rally cars will be there in the game.

The Medium – Developed and published by Bloober Team, this is a psychological horror game. The game is played in 3rd person Marianne, a medium who can travel into the spirit realm. Against the hostile forces, her psychic abilities may also be used. It is recharged by interacting with spirit wells. On September 3, the game is releasing.

Life Is Strange: True Colors – Developed by Deck Nine, an upcoming graphic adventure video game. Square Enix publishes the game. The Life Is Strange series is the 5th instalment, and the 3rd mainline game succeeding Life is Strange 2. The story focus on Alen Chen, a young woman. She can experience the emotions of others. In the game, she tries to solve the mystery behind her brother’s mother. On September 10, the game is releasing.

Lost in Random – Developed by Zoink, this is an upcoming action-adventure video game. Electronic Arts publish the game. The fate of all individuals when they reach the age of 12 is decided by cursed black dice in the Kingdom of Random. The wicked Queen of Random abducts even’s, sister. To rescue her sister, Even cross the six realms of Random. She meets Dicey, who helps Even to understand the randomness of life. On September 10, the game is releasing.

Tales of Arise – Developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, an upcoming action role-playing game. In the Tales series, this game is the 17th main entry. The game was initially supposed to launch in 2020, but due to quality issues got delayed. The gameplay has gone through unspecified alteration as a part of development goals. The game will focus on evading and countering with Tales of Greece (2009). On September 10, the game is releasing.

Deathloop – Developed by Arkene Studios, this is an upcoming action-adventure game. Bethesda Softworks publish the game. The players play as Colt, waking up on a beach at the island of Blackreef and is stuck in a time loopOn September 14, the game is releasing.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits – Developed and published by Ember Lab, an upcoming action-adventure game. Follows Kena, a young spirit guide. She uses her magical abilities to help deceased people move from the physical to the spirit world. The game is presented from a 3rd person perspective. To attack enemies, the player uses Kena’s staff and for defending against attacks uses are pulse ability. Small spirit companions, the players, have to collect who help battle against enemies and complete tasks. On September 21, the game is releasing.

Diablo II: Resurrected – Developed by Vicarious Visions and Blizzard Entertainment, an upcoming action-role playing video game. Blizzard Entertainment publishes the game. It is the remaster of Diablo II (2000), and it is the expansion of Lord of Destruction. On September 23, the game is releasing.

Death Stranding – Developed by Kojima Productions, this is an upcoming action game. It is set in the US following a cataclysmic event because destructive creatures keep roaming on Earth. Players control Sam Porter Bridges, a courier who supplies to isolated colonies and via a wireless communications network reconnects them. On September 24, the game is releasing.

Lost Judgment – Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, this is an upcoming action-adventure video game. The game is published by Sega and is the sequel to the video game Judge, meant (2018). The primary focus of the game is on private detective Takayuki Yagami. He investigates criminals accused of both murder and sexual harassment. On September 24, the game is releasing.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water – Developed by Koei Tecmo, an upcoming survival horror game. In the Fatal Frame, this is the 5th main entry. The areas are filled with hostile ghosts the players navigate, which must be fought by taking photographs. On September 27, the game is releasing.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania – Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, an upcoming party and platform game. Sega publishes the game. To reach a goal and clear the stage in a ball across a series of suspended platforms, the players have to navigate a monkey. On October 5, the game is releasing.

Far Cry 6 – Developed by Ubisoft Toronto, this is an upcoming 1st-person shooter game. Ubisoft publishes the game. In the Far Cry series, it is the 6th main instalment. Yara is a Caribbean island ruled dictatorship by El Presidente Antón Castillo. The players play as guerilla fighter Dani Rojas who tries to defeat Anton. On October 7, the game is releasing.

Back 4 Blood – Developed by Turtle Rock Studios, an upcoming multiplayer 1st person shooter game. Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment publishes the game. The spiritual successor of Left 4 Dead and feature identical gameplay. On October 12, the game is releasing.

Battlefield 2042 – Developed by DICE, this is an upcoming 1st person shooter game. Electronic Arts publish the game. In the Battlefield series, it’s the 7th instalment and successor to Battlefield V (2018). The game is set in the future, featuring futuristic gadgets, weapons, and vehicles that players can command. On October 22, the game is releasing.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes – Developed by Supermassive Game, an upcoming survival horror interactive drama video game. Bandai Namco Entertainment publishes the game. In the Dark Pictures Anthology series, this is the 3rd instalment. Five characters are controlled by the players trapped under an underground Mesopotamian temple during the 2003 Iraq War. Over there, they are haunted by monsters. On October 22, the game is releasing.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Developed by Eidos-Montréal, this is an upcoming action-adventure video game. Square Enix publishes the game. It is based on Marvel comics series of the same name. From the 3rd person perspective, the players control Peter Quill. The player can use Peter’s elemental gun and fly through the air using his jet boots to defeat enemies. On October 26, the game is releasing.

Solar Ash – Developed by Heart Machine, this is an upcoming platforming game. Annapurna Interactive publishes the game. The player controls Ash through a bright-neon coloured, three-dimensional landscape. The players attack enemies with swords and try to avoid obstacles as Ash tries to save her planet.
