James Lance Bass, the American singer cum actor has been keenly active to support Britney Spears on her Court proceedings for the Conservatorship. The actor often shared the tag #FreeBritney movement and supported her, though they have not been in touch for years.
Notably, James sat for an Interview along with Heather Dubrow and opened up about his relationship with the singer. The NSync singer appeared for the interview on Friday, July 23 for PodcastOne’s ‘Heather Dubrow’s World’ Podcast.
The actor claimed, “I haven’t spoken to her for years. We’ve been kept away from each other for quite a while. I don’t know exactly what she needs but I do know that she, to me — [from] what I see — is sane enough to pick her own people.”
Britney was under the restrictive conservatorship for about 13 years. She could not even take any of the decisions related to her finance and Personal life, without the prior permission of her father, Jamie Spears.
While in the interview, Bass clarified, “I believe that she needs to be away from the dad. She needs to pick her own people running this conservatorship, if she even needs one, especially when choosing her lawyer. To me, there’s a bigger picture here.”
He added to his statement and said, “The main thing that I’m concerned about is the court systems and this judge. If this is really true, then we have to look at this judge, right? Because that means that they’re corrupt. I don’t know, it’s scary.”
Additionally, the source addressed her Conservatorship and mentioned that the singer has once again got a chance to live her life again.
Notably, the source stated, “The #FreeBritney movement really gave her her voice back. She felt like she wasn’t alone. … Now that Britney has found her voice, there’s no stopping her. It’s all been building up for so long and she’s ready to unleash on those that have held her away from her own life.”
