The company typically host 3-4 hours event a year, including one in spring, one in summer and few in autumn. Autumn events are primarily scheduled for September and October. Last year, the company announced in September Apple Watch 6, Apple Watch SE, an updated iPad model, the new iPad Air, and Apple One but no iPhone. In October, Apple revealed iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, HomePod mini, and MagSafe accessories. In November, the company introduced a new MacBook Air, Mac mini, 13‑inch MacBook Pro, and the Apple M1 chip.

This year the company has released many new products like AirTags, the new Apple TV, iPads, the 24-inch iMac. In the last event, the company has already announced several hardware and software upgrades.  Apple’s last event was the WWDC in June. This is an information technology conference. There are many rumours and discussions regarding what the event would be like and the products being launched. This year’s September, rumours are mostly centred around iPhone 13, MacBook Pro with mini LED, an upgraded version from the previous one. This indicates that product leaks are being circulated on social media despite the company trying to stop the leaks.  But the Apple has not revealed anything about the event nor giving any hint about the products being launched.

Rumours related to Apple products –

iPhone 13

Multiple reports from different sources have indicated that iPhone 13 will see a September launch this year. As per rumours, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 pro max will be releasing along with iPhone 13. This phone would have its in-screen fingerprint scanner, better MagSafe, Always-on-display, face cam, and integrated Touch ID. The Touch ID will be allowed to unlock the phone while wearing face masks. The company will also be increasing the battery capacity of the phone. The size of the notch will also be decreased in this new phone.

Rumours even suggest that the price of the iPhone 13 will be the same as the previous one. As per reports, the iPhone 13 models may arrive at almost a similar price as iPhone 12. As compared to iPhone 12 series, it will have better 5G connectivity.

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple has dominated the premium smartwatch segment since its arrival. Now the company is said to be walking on next-generation smartphones. As per leaks, this could be a complete redesign. It would feature smaller flat edges and display bezels, bolstered internals, a slightly thicker body, and more advanced health tracking capabilities with advanced sensors. The health sensor will track blood pressure, core body temperature, body hydration, lactate, alcohol, glucose, and more, and an infrared spectrophotometer to measure these. The watch series will come with WatchOS 8 revealed in WWDC. Like every year, it is expected to arrive in September.

Apple watch was 1st released in April 2015. Each series has many variants initially defined by the watch colour, casing’s material, and size. The company has introduced new watch generations each September with improved internals and labelled by a series. Till now, six series have been released, series one (2015), series two (2016), series three (2017), series four (2018), series five (2019), series six (2020).

MacBook Pro –

This year, one of the most rumoured and highly anticipated product releases is the redesigned 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro. The new laptops are expected to feature the most radical redesign to the MacBook Pro. As per recent reports being circulated on social media, the feature would include a powerful Apple silicon chip, a brand-new display based on mini-LED technology, the death of the Touch Bar, more USB-C ports, a MagSafe specific charger from old models, a mini LED. It is expected that Apple will rectify the old mistakes with this new product.

Previously, it was rumoured that 14in MacBook Pro would be released by the end of 2020, but this proved wrong. As per sources, the company wanted to use mini LED, and due to the pandemic situation, the date of release was pushed back. Most Apple watchers are predicting that the new models of MacBook Pro will release either October or November. As per reports, the price will depend upon whether the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 released last year sticks around or not. If so, then the cost would be about $300 to $400 higher. But it disappears, then the price could keep could be $1,299, the entry-level price.

MacBook Pro was introduced in January 2006 and sold in 13, 15, 16, 17 inches screen options. The 1st Generation was released in 2007, 2nd Generation in 2008, 3rd Generation in 2012, 4th Generation in 2016, and 5th Generation in 2020.

Third Generation AirPods –

Apple is working on 3rd Generation Airpods, and as per recent reports, the new AirPods will be released at the September event. This could see some design changes for the 1st time as per leaks which did not happen since its launch in 2016. The Next Generation of the standard ‌AirPods‌ could feature a design more in line with the AirPods Pro. It would feature a shorter stem and a body design similar to AirPods Pro and the same pressure-relieving system.

The new AirPods will have silicon tips, and the earpiece design could be like the ‌AirPods‌, without a tip as per some leaks. One of the leaked pictures in February 2021 of the AirPods suggests silicon tips, while the picture leaked in March suggests there is no such feature. No official confirmation is there related to this. The design might look like AirPods Pro, but it is most unlikely to get the same features. As per recent leaks, the feature called active noise cancellation might not be there. The company is rumoured to be working on a new wireless chip included in this new AirPods. Some improvements in battery life could be there. The price of the new AirPods would like to be the same as the previous one.

The 1st AirPods was released on September 7, 2016, and the 2nd Generation was released on March 20, 2019. They are entry-level wireless headphones for the company, sold alongside AirPods Max and AirPods Pro. The features include a microphone to filter background noise, built-in accelerometers, and optical sensors to detect taps. The 2nd Generation had H1 Chip, hands-free hey Siri support, and longer talk time. Additional wire charging case was there with extra cost.

Conclusion –

Nothing can be confirmed as of now as the company has made no official announcements. The exact date of the event is yet to be announced by Apple. But one thing is for sure Apple will come up with new upgraded products.
